Hi dr, recently I checked my lipid profile and this is finding.. total cholesterol 213, HDL 38, LDL 138.4, vldl 36.6 and tryglyceride 183, it is high shall I worry for my heart health ?? Or only regular excersise and walk and food change will help ?? Also one physician gave me roliptin 5mg to have it for 3 month to reduce cholesterol. But I am afraid to take this medicine as once I stopped it may increase cholesterol again and I have to take it regularly to control my cholesterol. Please guide me doctors.

Since last few months sometimes i have a chest pain on different sides of the heart area on some days briefly or also sometimes at last part of rib area or on the sides of the ribs / chest ? My echo , ecg, ultrasound of kidney and upper abdomen is ok. What could it be ?

I had a mild Chest pain, my ECG and Trop I were normal. But my Heart rate is 120BPM and my BP is 140/90. My doctor told me it was nothing but anxiety and stress, and also advised me to take Trika 0.5mg and Cardivas for a month. Will taking Trika for a month cause any serious side effects?

Hi, for how long the CT coronary angio can be relied upon? My mother 65 who is diabetic had CT angio done in Feb 2020 it was fairly normal with no plaque in main artery and calcium score of zero. The recent ECG is normal, patient has no complain but we found mild pulmonary hypertension in 2d echo which is systolic pressure of 34 mmHg. She is not on any blood thinners. Shall we repeat CT angio?

Helo Sir, My father aged 61 done with CABG surgery 2 weeks ago and placed 4 grafts. He is diabetic.. how long it takes him to recover and be back to normal condition.. also if cabg done, there is no further problem we can expect with his heart right?

The results were: Impression Summary Ejection Fraction = 45-50%. Left ventricular systolic function is mildly reduced. A variety of Doppler measurements indicate impaired left ventricular relaxation, which is associated with grade I/IV or mild diastolic dysfunction. The discontinuity of the interatrial septum is suggestive of an atrial septal defect.
