I had B12 deficiency so took a shot. After few hours my right calf started paining a lot that I had to keep massaging it. I couldn't even walk or stand. Now its been two days. I still get that cramp like pain every now and then. Is it sode effect of B12? What should I do! Few years back also I took a shot nothing happened then. What could be the reason and treatment ?

Hi, I got blood test done and i got the report which says PDW(platelet distribution width) is 18.9fl which is 3.7 points higher than normal and MPV (mean platelet volume) is 1.5 points higher than normal. Even PLCR(Platelet to large cell ratio) is higher by 11.5points than normal. However MCV(Mean corpusuclar Volume) is normal. Could you please suggest what does it mean and is there a reason to worry? 1. What does high PDW, MPV and PLCR mean? Thanks.

My brother's age is 42. his platelets is 85000 now and from past 6 months it kept increases after proper diet and all and suddenly it decreases and he is tested negative for dengue all time and he is having constant weakness and now vibrations all over body.
