Hii I am anemic my iron level is 24 and hemoglobin 11.6 but my platelets count is very high 575000, can you please tell me it is very serious like cancer ???my peripheral blood report says I have microcytic hypochromic with thrombocytosis I have but b12 and vitamin d deficiency also pls pls reply

Hi, is it safe to use betadaine ointment for children for wound care...bcoz i came to know it is very harsh for tissues...also guaze dressing sticking to the wound n forcefully pulled n removed from my child's knee wound...her scab came on it...will it damage her wound tissues...after then i applied supirocin antibiotic ointment over it in fear of infection so in order to prevent tat...NW i m in fear tat it might cause drug resistance to my child in future since I used unnecessarily without any sign of infection...also since started i need to complete the course too...hw many days minimum course antibiotic needed...two or three days or just one day enough...

I am a type 1 diabetic and a college student. I was attending my practical exams and had taken my novarapid insulin at 10:00 and had my breakfast. In college I was thirsty and i checked my sugars at 3:15 it was around 250 and I took 15units of Novarapid. I was thirsty even after having buttermilk, so when I drank water after 15 mins, and walking towards the metro suddenly I started feeling a warm/Nervous/tingling sensation and feeling to pass out, heart rate went high and hands were shaking, I was scared and confused about what was happening I was feeling dizzy, I wanted to sit down and I was feeling that I am not able to breathe. I am okay right now but what was It and it has never happened to me, What could be the cause? My units are Morni-10u Novarapid Afternoon -15U Novarapid Night:- Novarapid -10u and lantus-18U

I had done peripheral smear test.wbc shows mild leucocytosis.is it normal.what test should I do further.wbc test range 11000but normal range is 6000 to 10000.plz check it
