Flu

Is a flu ALWAYS accompanied by runny nose and cough? I think i have a flu but i dont have those two symptoms i have read online

I have been suffering from acute pain in my left arm for short duration for one month.when I move left arm for general work there is a sudden pain in arm, specially during night when changing side. I am also patient of dylipidemia and grade 1bp, and taking medicine listed as OLMIN 10,ATORVA 40, EZISTATE10 DPLATT 75, FAMOCID 40.so can you tell me please what could be possible dignosis..is this seem to be a heart or nerve problem?..

So I've been to walk in doctor twice already for this, it has been going on for 3 months total now, I started new job where I work extreme heat and cold so I got sick mucus drainage and coigh, 1st doc trip they gave me antibiotics and coigh syrup then the cough never went away so went back and they gave me more antibiotics and some tussionex syrup but its been a week since I ran out medicine and I still have the bad phlemy cough, I need opinions on what it could be and what I should do
