My cousin has less than 5 degree squint in her right eye . Her city doctor told her that less than 5 degree squint doesn't require surgery. but I want to know what are the other ways to cure squint . Please advise. Thanks :)

I have a normal eyesight and don't wear glasses. From past few months I have experienced some itching in left corner of eye with slight headache. Now headache is gone but itching is der with random pain. At times itching is more and rest of the times it is very normal. No water coming out of eyes as well. I showed it to a doctor and he said sight is -.25 and recommended cylinder glasses. I don't feel any problem during reading though but can't wear glasses in my profession. Doctor said eyesight is 6/6. Can't afford The eye sight to go below 6/12 Pl advise

Is there any recommended eyewear or precaution for avoiding eye strain and headache due to longer screen time?

Puffy eyes frequently with severe pain at the back of eyes. Have been taking NODIMOX PLUS and FLEXON to reduce the pain. But once when stopped the medicine, the pain again arises. Usually the pain starts from some nerve coming from earside deep and aggrevates while coming to the eye. Please help me cure this. I drink ample water to avoid any water retention.

Upper eye lid does not lift fully well as compared to the other eye so I look very weird on video calls and in general. One eye looks weak and small while the other side of face looks perfectly fine. Both eyes should have the upper lid lifting to the same height so that one does not look serious and other does not look wide open. Apart from surgery how can I fix this because this is not a huge difference in eyelids. But it does screw the cosmetic appearances. Please guide. I have a feeling that this eyelid of one eye started drooping after a seizure I had when I was a kid. Epilepsy one. So can using an eye patch over the strong eye fix the weak one and make the eyelid lift or I need to neurogenically do something here. Please guide

Water is coming from left eye . There is one small pimple at the corner of left eye and its paining a little.kindly suggest.

Hello All, My nephew is 9 years old and he has spects from last 2 years. In last one year, his glass no has been change thrice and currently the reading are below: Right eye Sphere : +0.5 Cyt:-2.0 Axis: 180 vision: 6/9 Left eye Sphere: -    Cyt:-2.50 Axis: 180 Vision: 6/9 The problem over here is my nephew is getting headache from last 3-4 weeks. Initially when he used to read book, head used to start paining. But now head pain persists for almost whole day and we have started with homeopathic medicine as of now for headache. Can someone suggest what are these syptoms heading into and what precautions, measure and test should we do. Thanks in advance, response would be highly appreciated.

Hi Doctor, My father is a diabetic patient. Today he went for a medical check and the doctor asked him to do OCT Macula test. He was have some issue with right eye. What could be the possible reason for this?

A.) I was prescribed comfortz eye drop which contains ( hydroxypropyl methylcellulose + dextran 70 + glycerine) .One drop in each eye 3 times a day. My concern is that if I put 4 to 5 drops in the eye rather than one drop only, is it going to be safe? many times half portion of the first drop spills somewhere else on the face. And putting extra drops in the eye really feels good. B.) I was prescribed this only for one month but as I am an avid computer user, I feel like more dependency on it . So for how long can I use it safely. And how many days of gap is required after certain period of time usage. C.) The problem is evaporation of tears related. D.) My right eye is more troublesome with pain and sometimes foreign body sensation. but left eye never gives symptoms of dryness. E.) Should I switch to a different gel based eye drop after a month like refresh gel which has higher concentration (1 percent carboxymethyllulose). Please make me competent to take decisions myself in this.

I am 19 years old. I started wearing spectacles after my doctor (second opinion) gave me Only Cylindrical power of -0.75D in both eyes. I also have dry eyes for which I am using teardrops. Although, on my first opinion with another doctor, he gave me cylindrical power only in both eyes of -0.25D in left eye and -0.5D in right eye. I am wearing this prescription and it is comfortable. I also have computer usage due to online classes. 1. Will my eyesight get weak? 2. Do I have to wear glasses all the time? 3. If I don't wear glasses all the time, will my eyesight get weaker? 4. How can I improve my eyesight? Kindly help and Thank You!
