I work in front of a computer 6 days a week for 6 - 8 hours a day. Do i need to consult an ophthalmologist to buy a computer protection glasses?

I am 20/M. I was diagnosed with keratoconus in left eye 10 years ago. CXR was done 6 years ago but it didn't stopped my keratoconus. 4 years ago Lamellar keratoplasty was done. After surgery I got +7 cylindrical. Now I want to use contact lens for that. My query is - Do I have to use rgp lens or I can go for soft lens.

Today, Work is going on in our school. When I was going the stairs, the workers are working with acetylene flame/ welding machine nearby the stairs. So while I was climbing the stairs, some of the white fumes/ smoke entered my eyes . The strong light from the welding machine also fall in my eyes. Will anything happen to my eyes? Will I lose my eyesight? Will my vision decrease?

My 79 year old diabetic father was diagnosed with wet ARMD 13 days ago.The left eye has cf 1 with advanced sub retinal haemorrhage and right with cf 2, early scarring. Left eye was injected with Avastin on the 13 th day and the right eye will be injected in another 11 days. One eye also has localised retinal detachment. 1. Whatto do to save max vision until next injection & in long run.?What’s the min gap before the other eye can also be treated to avas/lucentis? chances he can read again?

I am 32 years old with refractive errors -2.25 on both the eyes. On examining my eyes for Lasik suitability, a little skewness was observed. Doctors informed that it may be due to use of contact lens within 6 months of checkup which I have used. I would like to know whether Lasik is advisable at my age and what are all the complications that I may have to face due to age factor or is it a myth that only teens are suitable for Lasik.
