Cant afford prescription insulin so i called walmart pharmacy and they told me i could buy Novolin R OTC. My question is how many units should i start out with if my blood sugar is averaging 321?

My brother age is 30 yrs ,he has diabetic from the past 18 yrs..he is taking insulin daily..he is doing his work on same like normal person......in my house we are trying to marry him...but we have some queries about his maariage life,possibilities of children??? can anyone pls clarify these doubts
