Plz tell me the substitute of istamet xr cp. this medicine is not avilable in my city or neither online.

My current BMR is 1567 ,about 1 year back i suffered hyperthyroid ,then it's normal ,what are the chances that I will suffer from hypothyroidism. What is the normal range of BMR

He was diagnosed with with DM type 2, 3 years back, took medicines for 2 years. Now he is not taking any med since February.He had lost 10-13 kgs of weight and has changed lifestyle. His blood sugar is now controlled and hba1c has come out in pre diabetes level. Is is possible to live medicine free by lifestyle modifications?

Dear sir/Madam, two weeks back I got giddiness followed by abnormal behaviour for two hours. I was hospitalised and was given sedative to sleep at that time.they have conducted MRI,CT,vegg scans and everything is normal. But the tsh level is 6.9 and antithyroid antibodies are >1300. My HbA1c:7.1. Doctors suggested Wysolone (10 mg X 3 tablets) for one week, (10 mgX2tablets) for next week and one tablet for the third week. They told it is Hashimotos decease. But with steroids diabetic levels will get increase, they told me. Please suggest me do I need to take steroids for the antithyroid antibodies.present I am taking thyroxine 25 mg only. My mother was diagnosed with diabeties in 2018 dec .  That time hb1c 11.9 She started with medication - metforfin 500m twice a day and took only for 15 days. Then we started ayurvedic treatment in jan 2019 Since then she is taking medication and her sugar levels are 135 to 150 before bfast and pp 185 to 200 She takes restricted diet as well along wd medicines Cholestrol total is 197 Triglycerides 163 Hdl 44.40 Ldl 120 Tsh 4.7 borderline Red cell distribution width 14.70   range is 11.50  to 14.50 Hb1c now is 8 . What treatment we should follow... Hb1c in sept 2019

What is prognosis of early onset type 2 diabetes mellitus. He is having diabetes since 2-3 years now and he is 30 years now. What about the life expectancy as compared to normal people.

I am diabetic taking melmet SR 500 2 tabs twice a day .. My underfeet is itchy ...kindly advise on reasons

My husband's fasting sugar is 162 today. He has been taking glyciphage 500 mg. Twice a day. He exercises regularly and eats food in moderation. Please advise if this sugar level is risky and if he should undergo a proper treatment.

He is on diabetic medications for type 2 since 2-3 years. Earlier he was taking glimepiride 1 and Metformin 500 mg twice a day. He was having hypoglycemia and thus is taking once a day since many months. He is also taking rosuvastatin 20 mg since a year. Now he has lost around 15 kgs of weight and is controlling his diet. Is it possible to stop these medcations in near future. Is DM type 2 reversible??

I have been diagnosed with PCOD. I started working out to keep it under control and trying my best to avoid sugar my problems: 1. When I work out I sweat excessively...I see the others doing the same are not sweating as bad as me. 2. I also get tired fast...no stamina... sometimes with high intensity workouts, my heart pounds (sometimes palpitates) and I give up. 3. I also have bad hair fall now. Are all these related? Which specialist should I consult?
