Using Steroids during covid treatment increases blood Sugars in non diabetic people also? If yes stops using them as usual back to normal? Pls suggest? Regards.

Hello doctor, 1month 20 days before I got fever and cough due to dust (grains se). I took ibugesic plus and azithromycin. After recovery period I am suffering from palpitations..BP fluctuates.,diastolic mostly low ..pulserate 80-94 K veech mei rehta hai.. all the day weakness is there. No H/O any major or minor disease .dryness of mouth too much. I intake liquid every, 1hr. Today I got report of lab test of HbA1c and Thyroid.. Result is HbA1C.(ngsp) -5.1 HbA1C (IFCC) -32.16 HPLC Estimated glucose -99.7 T3- 1.48,T4-9.70,TSH (4th generation) -6.175.Kindly suggest me what is right for me. Hello, My mother is 58 yr old. She is suffering from osteoporosis. Recently, her knee pain has increased. She gets fever and stomach upset frequently. Her pdw (platelet distribution width) is higher since a year. It was 19.6 last year, and 21 this year. Is this related to osteoporosis, or can she be having other problem?? What shud we do? Any other tests to be done?

Recently we tested HB1Ac test for my mother. It was 7.2. Currently she is using Gylcomet GP1 in the morning before food. She complaining of sickness after taking the medication. And at night she is using Gluconorm SR 500 mg at night after food. Can she use only Glycomet GP1 in the morning and could skip Gluconorm. Please confirm.

I have been taking wysolone ( once a day in morning) for 3 weeks post hospitalisation due to covid. In hospital also i was taking steroids. Now after 3 weeks of discharge i have stopped wysolone. My sugar is coming as following one day after stopping wysolone. Fasting - 82 PP - 145-150. Before covid my blood sugar was completely normal. Will my blood sugar come back to normal again and after how much time ? Thanks
