My father has type 2 diabetes .. he had flu like Symptoms so doctor prescribed him cefixime and oflaxime ... generally his sugar level is 180 after food but today it appeared 250 ... My mother is taking vildamac 50/500 since 2 years regularly. her sugar seems to be normal all but she is currently facing weight loss and weakness . shes also taking letrozole from 8 years . which medicine is causing this symtoms ? is it nessessary to take vildamac daily ?

Mom controlled diabetes around 6 months ago and her levels were 110/150 But now her sugar levels are 135/245 and hba1c is 7.4 We have a covid case in home and my mother also got exposed to it. I am worried, if she turns out positive, will it be serious? Her meds: Metformin 500, Vildagliptin 50 (started 2 weeks ago) I am worried about covid and will it get serious with such sugar levels.
