Can I take glimepride instead of metfor

Asked for Female, 31 Years

Is it ok if I take glimepride (dose recommendation needed) As of now I m taking metfor 500mg however this is causing weight loss n GI issues a lot Need suggestions please sugars are controlled though but have too much GI issues Thanks in advance
