Taking linagliptin and glimepride both
He is patient of ADPKD, Hypertension, Pnemoima, sugar. He found Covid postive on 11/5/21 and negative on 28/5/21. His heart working is 35 to 40 percent working. Doctor prescribed that's to take linagliptin 5 mg in morning with breakfast, 0.3mg Voglibose in lunch and 0.1 mg in dinner but sugar in morning 150 to 170. Now we are taking by ourselves linagliptin 5 mg in morning with breakfast, 1mg glimepride in lunch and 0.5 mg in dinner is it safe to take plz guide us dear sir/ Madam.

Yea safe to take. Need to know renal function. Why not on metformin. Can also start new medication and remove some of renal function okay.
