Hello Doctor, My father is 65 yrs old. his sugar level is Glucose fasting - 125 mg/dl Glucose post prandial - 134 mg/dl Not on any medicine. No diabetic history. Ps - diagnosed with covid in 2020 and was on steroid that time.

My fasting sugar remains high but pp remains normal What could be the reason Fasting 120-130 Pp -110-120

Hi, My dad recently underwent cervical decompressive surgery after which his sugar levels are not getting controlled. Doctor already has prescribed insulins and tablets but still he is getting execessive hunger in the early morning stages. Not sure wat is happening please advice.

My mother (having medical history of BP & Sugar) completed both dose of Covishield last year. During last week of Jan 2022, she suddenly suffered once from high fever - Our physician then advised Meftal Forte Tablets. We were asked to go for Covid Test only if her fever does not come down in 1-2 days & any other symptoms increase. By Gods grace, she was fine in couple of days itself with same medicine. She is very fine now with occasional dry cough. My question here is - she is now eligible for Booster dose after Feb 2nd. Can I plan the same for her immediately? Or should wait for few days/weeks/months? Please advise. This is also because I have other routine check ups planned in coming weeks, which will require us to visit different clinics, etc & would not like her to get infected by the virus anywhere.

Does metformin 500 prolonged release and metformin 500 sustained release are same or different. Earlier I was taking prolonged release and now the pharmacist has given Sr 500. Is PR and SR are same or different. Kindly suggest.
