My parents are diabetic and have sugar levels around 220 to 240. Now they started using Celevida protein powder to manager blood sugar levels. It is sweet in taste. They doubt if it increases sugar levels in body and can stop using. Please advise can we take this celevida protein powder who are diabetic.

My Fasting blood sugar level is 108 mmol/L. Is it normal or do I have pre-diabetes? Does temporary stress cause this increase in sugar level?

Doctor has prescribed Ryzodeg 30-70 12units and 14 units morning and night. After noon 1 udapa 5 mg and Tagon M 500mg morning and night. Hb1Ac is 12.6 prior to starting the meds. Diabetic since age 40. Has been using insuman comb 50-50. But now its not available anymore. Can you suggest a more economic alternative to Ryzodeg. We find it a bit costly.
