Losing weight after diagnosis prediabete
June 2022 I was diagnosed as prediabetic with Hba1c of 5.9. I got it tested because I got sudden excessive thirst and urination.
Since then I started having anxiety issues. I got my Fasting glucose and PP Glucose checked frequently and all with in normal range.
Fasting BG - 95 mg/dl
PP BG - 130 mg/dl
I was weighing 74 kg by mid June 2022 and since then my weight started dropping drastically from 74 kg to 69 kg in 1 month. Though I had restricted my diet to certain extend, ai am worried that the weight is dropping out of control. I checked with my GP and he mentioned that I am only prediabetic and nothing to worry about and eat healthy food and do some exercise.
I am not sure if my anxiety is creating the weight loss.Though my symptoms of of thirst, hunger and urination had dropped down, I feel diziness and fatigue and not able to focus on things. I also have some tingling sensation in one of my foot. I have family history of diabetes.
Kindly suggest what to do as I am seriously worr

Prediabetes
I have a healthy weight of 63 and height of 5'8. I walk and play badminton often. Over the last 3 months i was very stressed and eating habits were bad, smoking, drinking , eating junk and sweets. I developed a skin infection after coming from a vacation for which i was given antibiotics and its healed but i was recommended some tests and it showed hba1c of 5.7 under the prediabetes range. My father and paternal grandfather have been diabetic. What steps should be taken by me to address this and how serious is hba1c of 5.7 ?
