Insulin management in winters
Hi doctor how to keep insulin in winters ..she is on huminsulin 30/70 ..in winters temperature goes on minus in Kashmir..and overall night temperature today hea is 8-9 degree.

Either fridge or in home ....at dry place..2 to 25 degre celcius is fine for opened vial.Just make it little warm by rolling in palms before injection as very cold will be painful

In Kashmir you won’t get minus temperature inside the houses only outside temperature goes in minus . Insulin can be kept at room temperature. Only precaution you need to keep during winters is Keep insulin away from heaters/ blowers and kangris.
