100IU insulin conversion to 40IU
The doctor has prescribed us 100IU insulin but we getting only 40IU. Can the dosage suggested by the doctor for 100IU be multiplied by 2.5 to get a 40IU equivalent?

Hello Those cannot be used as equivalent doses.. Insulins are different for those insulin syringes. Either change insulin or  syringe.

For a 100 IU Insulin vial you use only 100 IU insulin syringe , and for 40 IU vial you have to use only 40 IU insulin syringe . There is no way to do the the conversion of this . . If you are only getting 40 IU vial you can give that with 40 IU syringe and keep the same dose of insulin what your doctor has prescribed .
