For a 100 IU Insulin vial you use only 100 IU insulin syringe , and for 40 IU vial you have to use only 40 IU insulin syringe . There is no way to do the the conversion of this . . If you are only getting 40 IU vial you can give that with 40 IU syringe and keep the same dose of insulin what your doctor has prescribed .
