Human actrapid 40IU vs 100IU
What is the difference between Human actrapid 40IU and 100IU? Apart from 40IU comes in Vial and 100IU comes in Cartridge, are there any instructions on which we should take ? I'm using both mixed like sometimes vial and sometimes pen, will there be any issues ?

100 IU/ml is 2.5 times more potent that 40 IU/ml. Therefore the ml of insulin you inject will vary with 100 IU and 40 IU. Therefore the Therefore it’s recommended that you stick to using any one type of Actrapid with meals. Pens are easier and more convenient to use.
