I have been asked to start with metformin for my grm if it not helpful than with insulin FIASP flex touch pen .How many minutes before meal do I have to use this???

First choice for GDM is metformin to be taken 10-15 min before meal if no gastric issues If feel nausea or any gastric upset Take it after meals Only Metformin sometimes is not sufficient to control blood sugar so next thing is insulin As during pregnancy we have to maintain very good control of blood sugars In addition please consult a dietician for medical nutrition therapy and light exercise to be followed to during pregnancy Best you a Healthy happy pregnancy
