I have been diagnosed with following: Insulin Fasting, Serum - 18.1 mIU/L Insulin Post Prandial, Serum - 118.2 mIU/L What are the health implications of such high levels??

Hi , I am under medication for dieabetic . I was not having med for 2 weeks and realized couple of days back that my range of sugar empty stomach is around 250 and with food same ...so after having medication for 2 days , results are same...please suggest , are these medicine need change ...generally whenever I have taken these medicine , my sugar was very controlled... I just had a blood test..in which my vit b12 n d3 levels were less than the range so went to the doc for medication he had my blood test done for lipid profile n tsh and random sugar...my reports are normal only the percentage of diabetes is 5.8..abd both my parents are daibetic...so the doc prescribed sulisent 100mg. T4 12.5, .TSH 0.17,this report is correct or not.i consult a physician MD general medicine.he said report is not correct.i had muscle pains weight gain.hair loss.pls sir tell me.
