She got tonsils.she consulted a doctor.but what are the home remedy she can use to cure the pain.please give me some advice

Hi doc, My husband who is 28 yrs of age, is suffering from throat pain for the past two days. I gave him warm water with honey n lemon.. He gargles salt warm water.. He took one Erythromycin tablet. He says that he has a pain than a sore throat.. Is there any initial home medicines that we could give or what must be done?

From yesterday evening I started to get a continuous beep sound in my right ear and it's continuing even now without even stopping for a second. I did try with your drops last night but it didn't solve. What could be the reason for this and what I need to do next. My wife is unable to get any smell/ sniff. Few years back, she suffered by small chicken pox and there after she is unable to detect any smell.
