I am a 14 year old student who loves science. As I was going through the texts, I came across the individual characteristics of each system in our body. I was going through the Digestive system chart and they had highlighted epiglottis in the diagram. What exactly is the function of epiglottis in the digestive system? Why is it important? What will happen if it is absent in out body?

Hello need some advice. I have ear infections as well as severe tonsil infections. Upon review it was found one of my nostril is almost completely blocked and the other is getting blocked as well. My doctor says I can opt for both tonsillectomy and DNS surgery. My question is which one should I get first. Will getting a DNS surgery fix my recurreant ear and tonsil infections?

Often getting swelling in right ear. From May till now 4 times it has occurred. After 4-5 days it itself getting burst then I'll clean it using buds. And now also I'm having . What is the reason ?
