Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

Having cold and cough from last 3 days, running nose and headache. Excessive cough, and chest congestion.

I have permanent sneezing problem,watery eye and tonsil problems whenever I meet with cold like in ac etc.

There is a concern on using in ear headphone or ear phone. Its told that using in ear phone is not good for prolonged use. Since it causes more wax and using in ear headphone causes it to be pushed inside ear causing more problem. Is it possibly true ? This topic is little technical but I wish to know doctors perspective. If I am using in ear phone for like 3 hours straight , is it bad for my ears ?

Hi, Recently I have bought mediclaim policy but unfortunately later I found that every mediclaim policy covers ENT after 24 months. I do not wish to postpone this surgery any further. 1) Any wayout to deal with this as more than 10 months are passed since I have been suggested by ENT specialist to undergo tympanoplasty? 2) Meanwhile Can I proceed with swimming with all protection gears like Cap,Ear plug? 3)What precautions shall I take being a ground sports person? My mother is coughing from one month. She is 50 years old. She is taking duolin and seroflo inhalers and nazomac af nasal spray and azithromycin 250(6 days). But the cough is not decreasing at all. Severity has decreased but still she is coughing and it increases in the night when she sleeps. Please help Thank you

Hello, My name is santosh and I have a hole in my right ear drum 2 weeks before as my frnd hitted me with very force on the right ear , was not having any sort of pain or discharge from the ear, went to ENT and they advised for a surgery but currently I'm not able to go through the surgery . Please let me know if I can wait for a month so that it can self heal and is there is problem if I delay it for a month with the needed care of it.
