Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

Sir I was doing forceful and rapid breathing exercise a kind of pranayam two days ago and since then I noticed Less hearing in left ear. My CGHS doctor gave me Fexofenadine HCl tablets and Oxymetazoline HCl nasal solution. Please guide for the right treatment.

I have nose allergy due to which I have to use dua nase which is expensive . Is there any alternative which is cheap but as effective as duanase nasal spray . Thanks .

I'm having frequent headaches for the last couple of months. Recently I had a CT scan and the result said there is mucosal polyp in bilateral maxillary sinuses. I'm having headache above mu eyebrows also with some kind of discharge sometimes through nose. Should i undergo surgery for this? Will there be any after effects if gone for surgery? Thank you in advance

I'm experiencing a mild throat at the bottom corner of the throat. Also dryness and sometimes hotness of the throat. Medicine taken as per doctor advice : povidone iodine gargle.

I was diagnosed with sinusitis after ct scan around 5 months ago. 95% of the symptoms were gone within a month after taking antibiotics,nasal spray etc. Currently only symptom i have is post nasal drip that occurs at night, morning I have mucus coming down the throat. I do not have cough or anything. Is the sinusitis not cured? is post nasal drip lifelong without surgery? And do i need surgery even if post nasal drip is not affecting my quality of life..?

Hi I'm facing tinnitus since last 5-6 months. The sound is mostly a screeching type of hissing and in silence a constant high pitched sound is heard. I have observed quite a few things, I have had many medications including medrol, nerverich, allegra D, zyrtec, hicet dc as well absolute 3g. Currently I'm on Absolute 3G since. 2 months. And my tinnitus stays in check. The things i have observed is when I press anywhere on my left face I get a squeaking sound, if i press left back(just at the center of the left back quadrant), the hissing sound subsides, but that constant tone of very high frequency remains. I am very scared about acoustic neuroma? Due to the lockdown m not able to meet my ent doctor as well as i have read so many things on internet! Please help me, getting anxious day by day :(. Are these symptoms of AN? Or it can be something else. I blow my nose too and ear drums open as well, sometimes I get air out of affected ear as well.! Please help me diagnose this :(.

Hello, I am experiancing some kind of tightness in the front of the throat since a few ways which is not going away. To start, on 5th March, 2020, got wet riding in the rain for long time with my visor open. After a week, I had cold and fever, which lasted for few days, and was gone. Still I had kind of itchy throat and soar throat, and feeling to clear my throat consistently through out. That lasted for around a 7-10 days, which went off, and then this tightness in front of the throat came. Around 15 April. Last week, i.e 22 April,  I saw white dots in my tonsils area and reddish bumps back of my throat, so I consulted a doctor online, he gave me some medicines. Now the throat is okey with the tonsil stones and all are gone , but tightness in outer throat is still there like a rubber band tied to my throat, which is very uncomfortable feeling. There is no lump feeling as well. To add, I was also under stress for the whole march month. I am clueless what to do.

Hi i have a constant burning sensation at the start of the throat and tongue. The burns only on the left side. I am facing this isssue since december 2018. The pain is constant and i have never felt okay to this day. I am currently in severe pain. I did MRI too(report uploaded) and it says, they see a retention cyst in the right maxillary sinuses otherwise they couldnt find anything. I moved to Canada in september 2017 and this chronic condition started in December 2018 while on a vacation in Mumbai. I went to different doctors in Canada but they couldnt help me. What can be the cause and even if its acid or GERD related why its only on the left side and not the whole mouth. I intend to come to India for the treatment once this lockdown is over. I seriously need help as this pain has given me severe depression.

Hi, My sister is having allergy and prone to cough and cold due to sinus and Allergy. She has recent history of allergy in blood.  As of now she is posted in Mumbai- ghatkopar which is a red zone. She has been forced to go office as she is staying near to her office/bank. No one from our family is with her. I am badly concerened about her.
