My question is only a rabid dog can transmit rabies, so if I got bitten by a dog 5 months back does it have rabies ? if dog is still alive ? Should I need to take vaccination now?

Once a rabies reaches the dog brain and becomes rabid. Can it be cured ? How long does a rabid dog survive for maximum then ?

1. Can a doberman survive rabies once infected. 2. Can both vaccinated and stray dogs get infected with rabies that can be cured or survive any chance for that. 3. How to make sure if the dog is safe from rabies if we get a bite from that dog how to confirm. 4. How rabies infect any dogs in the first place.

After play scratching  some one a dog died anyday between 28-40. At the time of play scratch he was not drooling. No nervousness no bitting issue was observed in him. He was roaming playing with all the other dogs. His eating and drinking status is unknown as he was stray dog but I twice gave him food he ate. His active non lethargic non bitting status was also observed for next 16days after that play scratch . Then I left  society. Then he was also observed by others for next 12 days in same active freely roaming condition with other dogs in society. He was neither drooling nor bitting anyone in those period also. He died above roof of 3rd floor so we can assume that he was not paralytic condition as he climbed up the stairs. The society is so small and there are plenty of kids playing in the street where no bitting incident was reported during that time. So if I assume the dog was died of rabies what is the chance he had rabies in saliva 28day before during play scratch

Yesterday I was coming to home late night ,at that time a street dog come near to me and try to bite me , and his teeth touches my leg , after reaching home I checked my leg but there was no redness, swelling,wound , bleeding and no hole in my jeans. Should I go for rabbies injection or not.
