RED PATCH ON THE TONGUE
Hello Doctor,
I wanted to ask about something I’ve noticed with my son, who is 3.7 years old. He often gets a red patch on his tongue, which I assume is a mouth ulcer, so I usually apply Zytee gel when it appears. However, it keeps coming back quite frequently.
He is a very picky eater and takes a long time to finish his meals—usually around 1 hour and 15 minutes per meal, and I still have to feed him most of the time. I’m wondering if this red patch could be related to any nutritional deficiency due to his limited diet?
Is this something I should be concerned about, or would you recommend any further evaluation?
Please go through the attached pictures
Thank you.

Newly painted house - safe for baby?
We have a new flat that we will be moving in to shortly.
After the house is painted, how many days should we wait before moving in ,so that the harmful effect of paint is no longer there to affect my baby or us adults.

Baby looks small for her age
Hello,
My daughter is 11 months old and weighs 7.3 kg. Her birth weight was 2.7 kg and she was born at 37 weeks by c section.
She isn't chubby like other babies and looks small for her age. Many people comment this or have pointed this out, asking whether she's 6 months old. She is reaching all her milestones well and on time otherwise. She is an active and happy baby also and smiles and babbles a lot too. Along with solids, she breastfeeds on demand.
Her regular pediatrician isn't concerned and says it's normal, could be genetics also as both me and my husband are petite.
But my older child was very chubby and fat at this age.
Is her weight less? If yes, please tell how to increase baby's weight? Or any tests that can be done to rule out any deficiencies, if that's the cause?
Please help.
Thank you.
