Child Health Issues

Dear doctor, When there is normal cold and cough for my child, to avoid doctor visit for minor reasons, how can I check that my child lungs are clear and free from infection. I have stethoscope.

My daughter has costipation problem and she is just 1.6 years old since last from 1 month, please suggest something

My 1 yr old daughter having fever for past 5 days and we are giving paracetamol from day one as prescribed by doctor and Dr. started antibiotic from past two days . Blood test done yesterday , CRP & Dengue non-reactive .. Urine culture report yet to come.. Still fever is continuing range between 99 to 101 and we noticed rashes on her forehead and backside neck.. Becuase of this rashes we worried.. Is elisa test enough to investigate dengue fever? Why this rashes are coming? Is normal viral fever can continue more than 5 days? Please advise Dr.

My 5 Year old daughter is having fever and cold since last 4 days. I have given her meftal p for 2 days and since yesterday started sinarest. Please advise if the medicine is correct and how much time it will take for her to recover. Fever is at regular intervals and goes down immediately after medicine.

Hi My wife delivered Baby Boy on 21st June..immediately we shifted him to another hospital where we hav NICU, after multiple scannings and various tests doctors told us he is suffering from Birth Asphyxia level 2/3 which was due to lack of oxygen during delivery time. After 44 days of treatment we didn't get proper treatment and still he is having various problems (unable to swallow, very minimum sleep, continuous cry, fits). We now shifted to Bangalore for better treatment. Could anyone suggest where and to whom to consult for his problem.. Is there any treatment which will cure his damage.. Plz help us.. Regards, Sai N

1. Rota virus vaccination is due to my daughter and she is 10 weeks old. As per my doctor there are 2 types of vaccine. 1st which covers 10 virus and 2nd which covers 13 virus. I am not sure which one to decide and why there are 2types 2. IPV - is not available easily. If this gets delayed is there any issue to my daughter and how to get this vaccine and what quantity is required to be injected to the baby 3. Pneumococcal - as per the vaccine table this was supposed to be given by 6 weeks and it is missed. How is it going to effect and can we get this vaccine done now when she is 10 weeks old Please suggest... Your guidance is required

Very low diet and low immune system.she is suffering from cold and fever each 1 or 2 months. so she didn't improve own body.she is 15 kg weighted

My son is having persistent cough .he was diagnosed with viral one week back . The medication was ibugesic,sinarest and cepodem. The course is finished for 5 days now.Should we continue with sinarest 3 times a day or let him be without any medication. Regards, Hemant
