My 3 years 10 months old son has 1-2/hpf plus cells and epithelial cells 1-3/hpf in the urine routine .Rbc is nil and others are nil in microscopy examination.. albumin: nil and sugar:nil. My 8 year old daughter was diagnosed with influenza A (testing mucus) as well as a secondary bacterial infection (white blood cells 11,500/neutrophil 87. She was given antibiotics and tamiflu. I'm not giving her the tamiflu because she's been sick for more then 48 hours and I believe it won't be effective? I've given her 1 dose of the antibiotic but I'm now wondering if the raised neutrophils are related to the virus rather then a bacterial infection as this doctor diagnosed?

Hi, My daughter (16 months old), suffering from cold and has running nose. We have given Navison saline drops twice a day(morning and night) and it makes her feel comfortable temporarily. Please suggest. Does NoCold drops do wonders? Is Nebulization a good practise?
