My kid is 3.5 months old. From last two days he is refusing to take feed from left breast. He starts crying loudly if I try to feed from left breast. What could b the problem? If I express milk from left side n spoon feed it then he is taking that milk. Please help

Are antibiotics safe for newborn babies? I I found on net tht newborn should not be given antibiotics as it has so many long lasting side effects..like it disturbs gut flora..has an impact on brain...child can have behavioral problems later on..besides child can have symptoms of ibd..is tht true..m worried as my newborn baby ws given antibiotics named taxim o iv..n keflor drops..as she was sleeping for long time...are antibiotics harmful for my baby?

Sir my 1.4years son suffering from beta thalassemia major.mutational analysis of hemoglobinopathy test done and found beta thalassemia major.blood transfusion going on.pre transfusion 9.5gm/dl. In 40days.any other diagnosis prefer you or any other suggestions for me.splen is normal,LFT normal. he active all time no infections. My baby is 6 weeks old and I breastfeed him. He seems to be always uneasy when awake since birth. Also his arms and legs are always restless associated with heavy breathing. I don't see him happy or contented though he feeds well. During evenings he wants to feed but refuses to suckle and goes to bed hungry. He spits a bit of 'curdled' milk. Could it be silent reflux?

My wife gestational age is 36 weeks but as per the scan it is 34 weeks and AFI is 7 cm , weight is 2.45 kg. As per the scan the details are as follows: BPD- 88.1 mm, HC -312.7 mm, AC- 304.7 mm, FL- 65.5 mm . Plz tell me the status of baby ? Is the baby growing healthy inside?

My son has fever from last 40 Days, intially the doctor was unable to diagnose the reason of fever because all reports were normal. Now the doctor clear that his spleen size is increased and giving medicine for that, but again fever was ok for 2 days then it came back. Now I am not sure that spleen size is the basic reason behind the fever or something else. How can I be sure that, Is there any test to identify that spleen size increase.

My 2year old daughter is having fever and getting shivering at 3.30 to 4pm for 3days...after drinking hot water her shivering gets stopped and fever remains for 1hour after that she is normal throughout day and night..doctor gave me meftal for 2days and today i am going to consult her again...but is there anything serious going to be???
