Child Health Issues

My son is 2yrs 3mons old he has got fever with throat infection. Dr prescribed for ibugesic (8hrs once for 2 days)and taxim o (1-0-1 , 5days) . I have given each 1 dosage over night and still my son is in pain couldn't eat/ drink milk . I have used augmentin ( another dr )30ml syrup when he was 1yr old and that worked well with 2 dosage itself.  Should I continue to dr's prescription or augmentin.  My son weighs 12.8kg how much is recommended for his age and weight,  kindly suggest...

I have been prescribed Perinorm for 10 days to improve my lactation. There was improvement. However the moment I stopped my lactation decreased severely. Can I continue Perinorm? If yes for how long and is there any side effects? Also please suggest any other method to increase lactation since I want to avoid formula food for my baby.

My baby is 3 month old can i start givin hom cow milk by adding small amount of water in it ? As i am not lactating now and Formula Milk is bit heavy on my pocket. Please advise if it can be given.

My baby is 3 months old, as i dont lactate great my baby is on FM from day 4. Earlier we were given him nan pro stage 1, but i felt it was causing gastric issue hence i changed it to Enfamil. As my baby is on mostly FM and Enfamil is bit expensive as i need 4-5 tins in a month. Hence i thinking to switch FM brand to Lactogen1,or Similac 1. Plz advice. Can i give diff brand of FM in a Day. And for gastric issue i am giving him colic acid.

My 9 months daughter is having dysentery and fever.Dr has prescribed ZIFI 50mg 5ml twice a day.So I am giving her 5ml in the morning and 5ml bedtime.is it a correct dose?

My boy is 28 days old now. His weight is 3.5 kg. I am giving him Nestle Nan ExcellaPro as my in-laws feel that my breastmilk is not being sufficient for him. He has a good appetite. But, now I want to change/switch to Similac. What is the difference b/w two? Could I change the product as Similac is more affordable cost-wise. Thanks.

I delivered a baby girl by c-section 16 days ago...3 days milk did not came so I gave her Nano-pro powder...then my milk started coming slowly after 4 days of operation...in starting days my baby slept after breastfeed but from 3-4 days she is not sleeping after breastfeed ing...why so? Sometimes she moves a lot and cries while breastfeeding. Plz tell me routine of 16 day old baby and how to treat her.

Hi My 3 years old son suffering with constipation and didn't pass motion for the last 3 days. He had some little fever for the last 3 days and we are giving P250 syrup and now fever reduced and normal now but didn't pass motion for the last 3 days, can you kindly suggest a syrup for constipation.. My 2 month old baby is formula fed. Since 1 week he is doing potty atleast 5 to 6 times a day and poop is normal but can see little mucus. Please let me know if I need to worry about this as I am not worried as his poop is normal. We have given him saline drops and cold medication. Please suggest.

My Daughter is 1month and 12 days old and has palate cleft, she's constantly taking very less feed approx 200ml/day which has resulted in wt loss from birth wt (3kg) to (2.8kg) present wt. Since last 2days she vomits during sleep and milk comes out from her nose. (we keep her at 30 degree angle and also ensure her burp after feed) still randomly she aspirates. She's taking baby Domperine 5ml as per Dr's advice. Kindly suggest some measure to improve her feed. (Note-we are feeding her with special bottles for cleft babies)
