My daughter started period at 10 years, every month she gets period for 5 to 7 days but this month there is only slight spotting since 8 days. Is it normal, does it get adjusted as she grows?

My 8 month old boy suddenly refugees to feed formula or water, even also mothers milk, he enjoy cereal rice nestum. But without getting milk or water getting health issues in future, what can we do..
