Sir/Madam, Is it advisable to give fruit juices to my 3 month old baby? If so please advice on what all juices that can be given.

My 4.5 month old is suffering from fever at a range of 102 degree. Doctor said it's viral and I should wait for 4 days for it to subside and prescribed 4ml meftal p every 6 hrs . Babies weight is 8.3 kg. His fever is not coming down after 2 days also. Should I again get him checked or should I wait. Is the dosage ok for the baby. If so then why is fever not coming down.
