Can you please tell me if gripe water can be given to 8 months old? What is the need of gripe water is it necessary? Does it help in teething?

Hello doctor my kid is 3.7 yrs old last Friday she got cough along with fever doctor prescribed antibiotics after 5 days she was fine suddenly yesterday night she complained ear pain having more wax also I gave ibugesic syrup now again fever started that too 99.1 her fever comes once after 6 hours please suggest what to do am having only one daughter she is crying I can't bare doctor pls help me
