Hi doc! I'm concerned about my daughter 10 weeks vaccine she was born on 4/8/23 she is due for 10 week vaccine shortly ...but I'm confused about diff variety of vaccines in private they give DTaP1 IPV 1 Hib1 Hep B2 Rotavirus1 PCV1 And in our Karnataka government they give OPV IPV Penta PCV Rota These vaccines for 10 weeks baby so which is better and which are all the vaccines that are must to be given in 10 weeks and if possible elaborate the uses of this...kindly guide

at the end of 6 weeks of age and at 10 weeks of age and at 14 weeks of age the same vaccines come dpt(diphtheria pertussis tetanus) polio hepatitis b h influenza b rota virus vaccine pneumococcal vaccine so in total you have to give eight vaccines to the child and there are combination vaccines available so that only two injections and one oral medicines will cover the above vaccines.

Your doubt and concern is genuine. To your ease, pentavalent vaccine (Penta) is a combination of 5 vaccines, which include D,P,T, Hep B and Hib.
