Penta Vaccine at 10 weeks
My niece is having very high fever after her second dose of Penta Vaccine along with Rota and OPV. She is irritated and crying due to pain but her fever is very high.

It is very common to develop fever and pain after penta vaccination. You can give Paracetamol drops for the same . Use cool, damp cloth to reduce swelling at the site of injection . A cool sponge bath will help reduce the fever . Beeastfeed as often as possible .
