Abcess formation due to Penta vaccine

Asked for Female, 25 Years

My 2month old baby having abscess at site of penta vaccine ..I will apply ice pack immediately after vaccination..till her abscess not cover from 10 days of vaccinations. Pls suggest

No need to worry for that Its common after vaccination If baby is cranck, exessive cry, swelling and fever then Give paracetmol drops to baby for 1-2 days Fever, pain will decreases in next 1 -2 days Don't apply anything over vaccination site It cause decrease in the efficiency of given vaccine Cont. to give feed as per demand Keep ur baby well hydrated Keep a watch on urine output Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day Swelling will take it's own time to disappear.
