Hello doc today we went to a pediatrician regarding my toddlers fever cold and cough she prescribed few medicines and asked to apply coconut oil in the above the lips?? I m confused y is it so is there any medicinal reason Coconut oil on the lips will help as a moisturizer but above lipss?? Does any one have any idea if so pls enlightened me regarding the same Thanks in advance

My baby is one month and 5 days old and has jaundice. Done all the test and everything is normal however when we check the total bilirubin it was 11.13 , indirect 10.69 and direct 0.44 on 18 August. Still looks yellow, I stop breast feeding for 8 hours and gave formula milk but baby did not took and formula milk and start vomiting with every feed.
