What are the chances of multidose vaccine vials getting infected with HIV or Hepatits viruses? I have heard the multidose vials have preservative like Thimerosal and during vaccination mostly AD syringes are used. But If a used needle with HIV or Hepatits blood is accidentally inserted into the vial what are the chances of vials getting infected? If a next baby given the same vaccine with infected vial but with new syringes what are the chances of getting infection?

My uncle son was having fever @ 100 f cold n cough he has prescribed moxid cv dry syrup dosage 4ml for 2 times baby weight is 7.8 kg with antibiotics he has prescribed other medicines also wanted to know dosage of antibiotics for 10 month old baby correct dosage please assist .

Recently Maxtra was prescribed as a decongestant for my baby. After consuming it she kept sleeping. I woke her up for feeding still she was drowsy. Om internet few sites mentioned Maxtra is not safe for 2 month kids. Please guide.

I am a mother of 3 old baby boy my milk supply was very low so I started formula my baby take feeding with spoon not from the bottel he take 60 ml every 2 hour his birth weight was 2.9 kg now he is 6 kg and he is not gaining weight last fifteen days and his formula feeding volume was not increased if I feed him force fully extra ml he vomiting all the feeding what I do now how to increase volume of formula bcs his weight still same but he is very very active well sleeping baby his motion and pee count are extremely well what I do now how to increase volume of formula

My daughter is 1.5 year's old. She has fever from last week. And fever was coming back every 3-4 hours.Meftagesic DS and crocin both were being administered. Her fever crossed 104.5 mark (taken in underarm). We gave her cold water wash and brought down the fever .After her blood test reports, doctor started Augmentin DDS. The gap in two fevers seemed to increase next day. So we were only giving Meftagesic DS after 6-7 hours. But next day the gap in fever reduced to 4 hours. I am attaching the blood reports. Also my daughter is taking food. She is not entirely refusing it but the quantity has decreased.

Why is Maxtra medicine not advisable for newborn kids?? Kindly let me know the reason. Thanks in advance!!

Hi Doc, My son is 11 months old. His birth weight was 3.080 kg and current weight was 7.3 kg and 59 cm in height What should be the ideal weight. He is not willing to eat anything . Please suggest what we can give him to increase apetite .
