My father-in-law is diagnosed with bronchitis and planning to arrange a get-together for the sake of my son. I am worried if that is communicable as my kid is just 2 years of old .My father-in-law has persistent cough repeatedly.Please suggest.

Hi Doctor, I would like to clarify on newborn Thyroid levels. It's a 13 day baby now. 3rd day: TSH - 22 ( didn't check T3, T4 levels). Started on Elyroxyn ( Thyroxin 25 mcg) daily. 13th day: Rechecked the levels. ( Attached this report). TSH - 0.88 Free T3 - 4.14 Free T4 - 2.01 Need help. How can TSH levels drastically change from 22 to 0.88 within 10 days of hormone replacement Eltroxin medication?. We have a review of these latest test results with the doctor next Tuesday. Should we still continue the medicine?. Worried if it leads to hyperthyroidism. Or is it normal for TSH level to drastically reduce after starting the medicine?. Thanks.

My 11 month old daughter is having cold and cough for last 1 months. From last 1 week ( once in a day) she throwing up milk or food after coughing. We have seen multiple paediatric doctors but none of the medicine is working. We have given her below medication based on paediatric consultation. Wikoryl syrup 5ml Levocitrazin 2.5 ml Atarax 1ml drops 2 bottles of antibiotic zedosef 50 He suggested blood test and chest xray last week. Which turned out to be fine. What we can do now. I don't want my baby to take these many medications without showing improvement in cough and cold.

My son is 6 months old, weight 7.8 kg. He is having fever 100 F and is repeating. How much paracetamol should I give? What is the dosage for his age/weight?

My 8 month old is now 5.6kg.birthweight 1 kg(34 weeks 4 days) IUGR baby. He has a running nose and the doctor suggested 0.3 ml T- Minic now he has developed a little fever. Can I give paracetamol drops along with T-Minic ?

My baby is 5.5 monthsnold, shall I give her 0- 6 month formula or 6 - 12 month. If I'll buy 1-6 month formula, and not able to feed after she completes her 6th month then the pack will go to waste. Therefore need to know which is the best formula for me to use at this time Thanks

My 2.5 month old son has not slept from last night. He is crying repeatedly we have given colic aid to avoid any gas issues. We consulted our paediatric he is saying to give colic aid again and repeat after 30 mins if he is not feeling normal and getting proper sleep then he told us to give montair LC syrups keeping the cold factor. So should we give montair LC syrup. He is not picking up the call now and he does not explain us about the quantity of the drops.
