Chest & Breathing Problems
Stop and restart TB medicines
My father was detected with pulmonary TB which was picked incidently with no symptoms of persistent cough, weight loss etc.,LFT, FBS additional basic tests were normal. Since TB detected as per doc we started with AKT4 for a week, weight is 47kg and age 78. Was ok for first five days, on 7th day experienced severe nausea, vomiting and severe weakness. After admission to hospital noticed full dip in sodium and potassium levels. So suggested to stop AKT4 for two days till body picks up sodium and potassium and resume with little low dosage of TB medicines. Is this Ok to stop and restart with low dosage? as it's in initial stage of TB with no much impact on lungs. Only 3 small nodule densities and one mass lesion.

Query on Covid Vaccination
Hi,
My father got infected with Covid and his lungs score was 20/25. He was under oxygen supply and admitted to hospital for couple of weeks.
Now, he has recovered but still a bit weak.
Sometimes, once in 15 days, there are small blood clots in his cough. We got him checked regularly by the same doctor who treated him during covid after he was discharged. There are no issues found in the X-Ray or CT-Scan or D-Dimer reports.
My query is: Are the clots normal, a sign of recovery or we need to take action? Secondly, he has been Covid negative for almost three months now, can he take the second dose of vaccination?
Thanks!

Should I need continue gastric tablets or fo for endoscopy. As now I am not feeling much heartburn or should I need to visit pulmonologist.

Chest pain and breathlessness
53 yr old female experiencing breathlessness in short walk. Though she is overweight, she takes a 1 hr walk everyday. We have got heart checkup done everything is okay, but the problem is persistent since 4-5 year. She also has cholesterol and high bp. What could the issue be? Should we consult a pulmonologist or a cardiologist? Spoken to our gen physician multiple times he says this is only a problem due to lack of stamina. Could this be something else?
