My uncle (62 yrs) had mild fever for a month and weight loss -6 kg in 4 months. AFB and Gene Xpert test is negative but found klebsiella pneumonia in sputum culture test . I am very worried as nothing is getting clear what happened to him. Please please look over CT scan and tell what has happened. is there a possibility of cancer as well?

Hi I got both doses of vaccination. 1 week back i got covid positive with mild symptoms. Today i got negative report. I have weakness and getting exhausted quickly. Is anything to worry? Should i do D-Dimer test or any other? Thanks

I'm patient of anxiety from last 7 yrs.So it started with almost 10+ yrs ago,I suffered mild chest pain near heart and mild breathlessness docs couldn't find anything,prescribed psychiatric advice.After that I was okay and I left the meds in few months.went kota for prep,my anxiety issues shoot up,I started feeling tremors,vertigo,overthinking.After almost few months of psychiatric treatment I was almost okay and started taking paroxetin 25 mg.i strtd suffering stomach issues 3 months back like indigestion,blood in stools,loss of appetite, weight loss, breathlessness, increased anxiety issues like tremors,vertigo.w/a CT was done,in which everything was normal but written about lungs "subsegmental atelectasis in postero basal segment of left lower lobe",I consulted few pulmonologists and they prescribed xray,pft, blood test which was normal,but I still feel severe breathlessness.is hrct rq as I am worried of radiation.blood like taste in mouth,mucus when cold water, pressure in nose.

I had taken both the shots of Covishield, however still contracted Coronavirus two times. In March contracted tuberculosis and have been under ATT since then. I am taking Akurit 3 along with some multivitamins and Omega 3 capsules. I was also given steroids for a week due to the right pleural effusion which has now been resolved successfully. I am in two minds about the Covid booster Shot. Should I take it or wait till the treatment culminates? Are there any side effects of the booster Shot specifically to tb patients? I am taking very strong medicines under ATT so is it safe to take the vaccine?

Hi Doctor, Centrilobular nodules and patchy consolidation seen in the anterior and medial basal segment of the right lower lobe. Nodule measuring 7mm seen in the anterior basal segment of the right lower lobe. Kindly advise. ESR count is 65. Rest all fine. Do I need to take steam daily and any changes in food in order to be normal. Please suggest.

I have a soft tissue attenuating lesion 3 cm.. The pet scan for it came Metabolic Active.. So they referred us to oncologist but he denies treatment until we get a biopsy of that particular mass.. They are asking for a biopsy but location of lesion is hard to get so CT scan guided needle biopsy has been said to be done.. but then again the doctor is saying it is very risky and pneumothorax could happen.. and left the decision on us.. Is there any other way out? I don't understand even for a sample I have to take so much risk? Please help 🙏

Can lung tumor be Metabolic active even if there is no cancer? My Biopsy report saying no malignancy but Pet scan saying Metabolic active soft tissue lesion in lungs.. What does this mean? Is it normal or worrisome? I have attached report here.. This lung mass was found accidentally on CT scan.. No treatment was given or taken, No symptoms or problems.. just a mild dry cough which was there even before this mass was found.. Now Tell Please 🙏

My 68 yr old mother has severe sleep apnea and post Covid lung fibrosis.. In her CT scan it says "Soft tissue attenuation lesion in RUL as described. Neoplastic etiology merits consideration" So my lung doctor suggested a bronchoscopy.. Should we do it? Is it necessary?
