Cancer Care and Treatment

Hello Doctors, My mother in law was diagonised with Breast cancer and the surgery was done on the 19th Jan 2017 . I have attached all the medical reports related to the surgery and the tests done on the tumor. Earlier the treating doctor advised that the chemotheraphy and the targeted therapy has to be done together. But when we told him that the medicines will be purchased by us, he now says that the targeted therapy will be done after the completion of 8 cycles of chemo. Infact again this was quoted as 6 after the surgery. Doctor advised as the pathelogy results came as oncogenes are present, targeted theraphy is required to be given.. My only query is should it be given along chemo or after completion of chemo. It would be very grateful if a medical / radiation oncologist could advise me on what is the correct procedure.  Thanks for your kind help and advise. Regards, Joe

Sir, we ve conducted biopsy test on 05 jan 17, the report shows granulation tissue and conducted CT scan on 27 jan 17, it shows carcinoma t4a n1 mx. Again kolkata command hospital doctors took sample for biopsy on 04 feb 17. Now we want to come to ur hospital. I want to know whether that biposy report of kolkata hospital wil be suficient for treatment or u wil conduct fresh one?

Last 10 days before my mom had heavy low back pain doctor took ct scan and they told in lungs was infected it may be a lung cancer like that they told so sir pls tell me is it lung cancer or not

Hello doctor Just few days before I feel lump in my left breast n size of it like chickpea N sometime it pains. Can it b cancer. M very scared n afraid to visit a doc as what he will say. I knw one day everybody will die even me also but I dnt want to die with these kind of disease

Hello Doc. He was suffered from cancer in 2009. And after that well cured took radio therapy. Currently the situation is his food pipe is blocked at the end. Drs did endoscopy many a times every dr. Suggest us diff. Diff. Things now we are confused what to do. As right now his weight is also gose down. And not able to take liquid also. So whom i have to consult as well as what is the treatment and all.

Hello Doctor, God send treatment before illness. Sadly,My Father passed away 1 year back. Doctor told us that he has Acute Leukemia (type of blood cancer) in blood. Which is causing decrement of blood count day by day. His report said Haemoglobin-10g/dL, Platelet Count-35000 /cmm, Monocytes-15%. Doctor also said both the possibility is there after using Chemotherapy. He could not survived even 2 months. My father was not addicted to any kind of drug/smoker/drink. He used to love everyone. We reached to moon and still far behind of Cancer treatment. Every year 8 million people are getting die due to Cancer. I have some question to be ask: 1. Why still there is no treatment available?. 2. Why Cancer/Chemotherapy treatment is still business in health care?. 3. How long people are going to die?. 4. When some vaccination/treatment will be available ?. When Cancer business will be stopped?. I expect some quality answers from specialist Hematologist/Oncologist doctor?. Thank you.

Hi, My mom had breast cancer surgery before 5 years and undergone chemotheraphy also.. now again a small CA lesion measuring 2 cm again came back in the same breast,,why its coming back again wat is the precaution to stop that coming again

Hi doctor's.. I ve extra skin in my armpit which looks really ugly... It is not that painful, It looks like swollen lymph, It pains a bit if pressed hard... Do I ve breast cancer?? By the way my vitamin D count is 4.8...

Hi, recently an excision biopsy surgery has been done to my mother in which they removed that lump and send for test. In that test report they concluded that lump as "invasive duct carcinoma with an extensive insitu duct carcinoma component". And also they mentioned " resection margins are free of tumour and closest resection margin is 5mm away from tumour" in microscopy section. And they suggested "clinicoradiological and surgical correlation". So i want to know the present cancer stage, whether it is dangerous and treatment process. Also want to know how much safe those radiation and chemotherapy as i heard about side effects of those and whether she can tolerate to those process at this age? Is it good to use ayurvedic medicine along with chemotherapy and radiation? What are the chances of complete cure for this disease at this stage and what is the procedure? Please help us in clarifying above issues and suggest us best treatment process. Thanks
