Cancer Care and Treatment

Both my grandparents and great grandmother had cancer. We came to know that my grandma has cancer just before 15 days of her death. Is it likely that my parents or I can have cancer ? If yes, is there any way to identify cancer ? What are the tests to get checked up for cancer ?

Taken chemo radio therapy before 1 yr .then she having severe stomuch pain .usg shows hydrouronephrosis to rt kidney. Putting shunt plan bt it failed becoz radiation damage the tube. So dr suggest to take urine outside from operation and keep her urine bag parmantly at her backside above hip. Bt after that treatment her stomuch is paining ..we cant understand what is the prb..pet scan .pap smear is normal bt her weight decresing day by day. Plz help us sir

Hi...my father have lung and liver cancer final stage,recently I found a tumor leftside in brain by mri scan and now my father suffer with peralysis to both right hand and leg, neurologist told me that no better medication to your father at this stage but my father have better vision, memory,but he can't talk even few words to expression his feel. I requestly ask one thing that please suggest me best medication to me to talk my father for open up his feel.....I eagerly waiting for your reply.

Lymphoma cancer, Operate last year but he is facing problem for sweeling and extremely cramps in chest to left side cheek. (Operate note: left composite resection with cheek clearing and reconstruction).

First stage it is of non hodgkin lymphoma, so can i join back my company till chemotherapy gets start? I work at airport nd only little physical work i need (walking) M feeling ok internally.

Had lump in right breast since 1 month..consulted local doctor...was diagnosed as fibroadenoma of size 2cm through USG and FNAC..Local incision was taken by local doctor and the lump was removed... Biopsy showed benign phyllodes tumors as diagnosis... Should I follow wait and watch policy for its recurrence and then undergo surgery again or should I undergo wide local incision again immediately to prevent recurrence??? Report of Biopsy-"tumour having features of benign phyllodes tumour. Focally normal breast parenchyma is identified. Section is negative for granulomas or malignancy. Impression-benign phyllodes tumour"

Iam 21 yr old female..i got a lymphnode in my right axilla..i was just moving my hands through that area when i felt a mild pain and on trying to localise it i got a firm to hard swelling that almost occupied the whole of my finger tip..am on my periods..does it have anything to do with this..should i be worried..could u please suggest me what to do?

Right Brest is normal . A hypoechoic irregular mass (20*17 m.m.) is images in left breast at 9 O'clock position just outside areola. Few calcific foci seen within the mass. The mass is very hard on elastogram. No axillary lymphadenopathy seen ..SONOMEMMOGRAPHY . ......
