Cancer Care and Treatment

Patient was diagnosed with breast cancer in sept 2020 underwent mastectomy, chemo and radiation and then pet scan reports were clear. but soon after started to experience severe pain in lower back and back side of legs. After several tests and finally the lumbar puncture she has been now diagnosed with a metastasis disease and hence again underwent radiation for a week and now chemo ongoing. I googled about this and it shows its a stage 4 cancer and mostly its not curable. However the oncologist we are right now consulting who's practicing in kokilaben hospital Mumbai told my father that it's nothing major and her body will respond well to treatment and she'll recover so nothing to worry. But today after actually googling and getting some info on her disease i'm worried who to trust and is it true that my mother has only 3-6 months more? I just need a clarity and a second opinion from an actual doctor assuring my mother's life.

Hi, My mother had right side breast cancer and it was removed on 2019. Chemotherapy also started by Dec 2019 to Apr 2021. Now she is taking respective medicine oncolet 2.5 , amlokind and gemkal plus for past 1 year. Now planning for Covid vaccination. Pls let me know if vaccination could be taken for and any restriction should be done in medication. Thanks.

My uncle was initially diagnose with cancer of tonsil and had undergone treatment in tata memorial cancer institute and was on  follow up for 1.5 yrs.he has been recently diagnosed with cancer in lung which the doctor has told that cancer cells has been migrated from tonsil..what will be the best treament optolion for him and what will be his life expectancy with the best possible treatment.

Can a PET CT scan find hidden infections other than cancer in the body ? Is the procedure same for infections also, injecting the die in body before scan ?

They mentioned that the has tumor that has blocked the large intestine and thats needs to be operated,on the very same day operation was done. Now they in biopsy its confirmed that its cancer.
