Hello Doctor Can Mental Stress or depression cause unintentionally weight loss from 105kg to 87kg in 6 months, if other reports are normal(TSH, Sugar,Cystoscopy, LFT, KFT, HIV, TB). I am facing weight loss without physical activity, tightness in middle of forehead, stomach became tight after consuming milk products and dont able void urine completely (urine retention) with blood and result to Prostatitis, Urologist says goes to Pschiatrist, Test are normal, but i am thinking there is something else. What you advise and what to do to stop weight loss and void urine?

Ankle and back pain. Can not wait and stand for more than 30 minutes. feel like my blood flow stops in right leg when I stand. When I just lift my ankle flow continues. This problem started 5 yrs back with slight irritation in leg and back and increased at this level.

My wife is suffering from back and neck pain. Her MRI of Cervical Spine - Screening of whole spine reveals: 1. Partial lumbarisation of S1 vertebra. 2. Posterior disc protrusion with annular tear indenting thecal sac. 3. No nerve root compression. She often suffers from fever, headache, backpain. Is it a critical condition. Can she improve with proper medication. Kindly advice.

I had a migraine attack, after that I am getting hazzy light images and not getting sleep. But I am not getting any pain in my head now.

I had a seizure in 2008 and was diagnosed with neuro cysticercosis. I took medicine for a few months and discontinued it. I had headache frequently and 2011 got an EEG done which was abnormal and I was taking Desval ER 1gm for two years and stopped it without consulting. In 2013 i had a second seizure and EEG was abnormal again. For 3 years again I was on Desval ER 1gm and very recently got a repeat EEG which came out normal and also brain MRI was normal. Now I'm on Oxetol 150mg. How long should I continue and also I'm feeling very dizzy and drowsy after switching to Oxetol. Can I drive, considering EEG is normal. Thanks
