Before 3 yes ago I was doing regularly heavy workout in gym but suddenly low back pain started due to that I stopped going to gym... I can't lift anything weight above 5-6 kgs.. Suffering from knee pain

I waz playing badminton about 4 to 5 months back. Its after playing 4 a month r so i experienced this pain. I got injured two months ago. I had gone through a non-surgical treatment . After wards I was suffering from knee instability and pain. So i got an MRI scan . It indicated a grade one acl tear with superior synovial plicae thickening. Also sending my reports . Should i need a surgery?
