I want to remove my cast just for one night because it has a lot of sand and dirt in it so I want to remove just for the night and put it a new one tomorrow I had the cast for two weeks and I need it for a month.

I had a deep cut on finger, outer side of palm, 2cm below nail, when my hand hit ceiling fan. Got the wound stitched and removed after 10 days. I didnt make fist for 20 days. Xray shown no fracture. It has been 4 weeks since the incident but it still pains when i try to make a fist. It pains as wound stretches and the flexibility of skin has decreased.. Will it heal with time or would i have to undergo some surgery?

Had a lateral release 5 years ago and still in pain. Surgery didn’t work as well as I had hoped it would and just want to be able to walk up and down stairs and we’ll walk in general without pain.
