Sir   Before 4 weeks, i noticed mucus in my stool after eating fatty meat (mutton).Also one day I feel a urge to defecate but no bowel movements. After that I went to gastroentrologist and he said it may be a type of IBS and given some antibiotics and probiotics. After that my bowel movements came normal. so I discontinued the medications. To fight constipation, I occasionally take Petsafa laxative granules. It results in high volume and more in frequency stool sometimes black with mucus. Please help if these stools are accumulated or Petsafa itself promotes diarrhoea like symptoms. Please suggest should I continue Petsafa.
