My brother is taking Tendo Mac tablets. He is having pain in rectum area and problem passing stools. What should be done to overcome the pain?

Slight increasing pain on right side of abdomen below lungs. Specially while consuming alcohol the pain increases but gets fine in a day or two. Its been 8months pain is consisting.
