Affected Area: The condition is localized to the upper (dorsal) surface of my right index finger, particularly the middle and distal phalanges, with noticeable involvement around the knuckle area. The patch of skin in question appears dry, flaky, and scaly. On close inspection, you can see that the outer layer of skin is lifting and peeling, especially toward the center and edges of the affected region. The texture of the skin in that area is rough and uneven, and when touched, it feels thicker than the surrounding normal skin.
